I’m Kelly. Welcome to Style on Park.

YOUR GUIDE TO PARK AVENUE STYLE.

New York has always been more than a city to me — it’s a way of seeing the world. The way you carry yourself down a crowded street. The coat you reach for every single morning. The confidence that comes from knowing exactly who you are and how you dress. That’s what Style on Park is about.

Here you’ll find the classic style pieces I rely on, the NYC packing lists I actually use, and insider New York City travel tips that will make navigating and exploring this city feel effortless.

NYC doesn’t care who you ARE. It will humble you, inspire you, and push you further than you ever thought possible.

For me, Classic Style has always set the standard — polished, intentional, and impeccably put together no matter what the city throws at them.

New York doesn’t slow down. It pushes you, challenges you, and demands that you show up ready. The women who do it best have one thing in common — a wardrobe built on intention, not impulse. Classic style pieces chosen with care that work harder so you don’t have to.

Through Style on Park, I want to bring that same standard to every woman — whether you’re navigating the city every day or simply drawn to the elegance it inspires. Because Park Avenue style was never really about the address. It’s about the attitude.

frequently asked questions

I am typically a size 6/28 in pants, trousers and denim. For tops, I wear a S/M depending on fit. I prefer a more tailored fit, but I dislike anything that is tight. I wear a size 10.5 in shoes, which can be hard to find. So I typically buy size 11 when brands don’t offer the half size.

I’m 5’11” and about 155 pounds, though I’ll warn you — I’m not built the way most people expect a tall woman to be. My weight settles in my hips and thighs, and my height is almost entirely in my torso, not my legs. My inseam is a fairly standard 30.5″, which surprises people. I rarely buy long or tall pants unless I’m planning to wear them with a heel. It makes shopping interesting — and honestly, it’s taught me a lot about fit. Knowing my rise is key!

One of my favorite streets in New York has always been Park Avenue — especially in spring, when the tulips are in full bloom and the city feels like it’s putting on its best outfit. As a young girl growing up in New York, I used to imagine my life one day ending up there — in one of those classic Pre-War apartments, a Classic 6 with high ceilings and beautiful bones. In the early 90s, Park Avenue was the dreamiest address in all of Manhattan. Style on Park was born from that dream — and the belief that the elegance and intention that define that world shouldn’t be reserved for one zip code. It belongs to every woman who appreciates classic style, timeless taste, and the magic of New York City. Park Avenue style is not an address. It’s an attitude.

I was born in New York and moved to Manhattan at 17 — so the city has been part of my DNA for as long as I can remember. I lived there full-time until 2022, when I made the decision to split my time between Manhattan, Charlotte, NC, and Palm Beach, FL. No matter where I am, New York always feels like home.

I’m in Manhattan every month — it’s non-negotiable for me. Unless work or travel takes me elsewhere, you’ll find me there soaking up the city, discovering new favorites, and always finding fresh inspiration for the blog.

WHAT I NEVER LEAVE MY HOME IN New York City WITHOUT:

Two things, always. A portable phone charger — because once this city gets its hooks in you, you never quite know how long you’ll be gone. And a pair of foldable ballet flats tucked into my bag for dinners and theater nights when I want the heel but not the 10,000 steps that come with it. This is key to feeling comfortable while also looking chic.

THE New York City OUTFIT I SWEAR BY:

A pair of dark-wash, straight-leg denim, a cashmere tee, a blazer or trench coat (depending on season), paired with a loafer or ballet flat and a structured tote that can also be worn crossbody, finished off with a pair of diamond studs, a gold necklace or two, and my favorite watch. In NYC, I wear mostly black (very NYC chic) or navy.

WHAT I AM EXPLORING IN New York City:

No matter how many times I find myself in the West Village, it never loses its pull. The cobblestone streets, the charming boutiques, the cafés that feel more European than American — it’s the one corner of the city where New York slows down just enough to breathe. I keep coming back for the quiet, the history, and the feeling that something wonderful is always waiting just around the next corner.

WHAT New York City HAS TAUGHT ME:

New York has taught me that the city has no interest in your off days. It demands your best — your most present, most intentional, most pulled-together self. Not because anyone is watching, but because this city has a standard, and once you’ve lived here long enough, that standard becomes your own.

MY PERFECT DAY IN New York City LOOKS LIKE:

My perfect day always starts in the West Village — a chocolate cornetto and caffè latte at Sant Ambroeus, then a wander through Three Lives & Company, my favorite bookstore in the city. From there I drift east through SoHo, never missing What Goes Around Comes Around on Wooster before making my way through Alex Mill, Jenni Kayne, and Sézane.

Lunch is at La Mercerie, Balthazar, or The Dutch — all perfect for a great meal and a little people watching. In the afternoon I find myself in Washington Square Park, my happy place since my NYU days. The evening ends with a glass of champagne at The SoHo Grand before dinner with my husband at Ye Waverly Inn, Commerce, or Via Carotta — if we can snag a table.
